Local vs. National Real Estate Trends

You can almost take the national trends and throw them out the window. Because how the market is doing in Texas doesn't really effect us here. I moved here from Texas in 1996. My friends in Austin say the market is doing very well there, 3-6% appreciation, jobs continued to grow in the state, unemployment is much lower. Here in Florida it is almost opposite of those things. Yet the potential for the biggest upswing in Real Estate is ....here in Florida. Wrote an offer this wek on a home that priced out at $48 a sq. foot. Thats unbelievable. |
